Services

Field assessment through regulatory sign-off, scoped to what your project actually needs.

01

Wetland identification & delineation

On-site fieldwork to identify, classify, and map wetland boundaries using the Alberta Wetland Classification System and ABWRET-A field assessment tool. Delivered as a Wetland Assessment and Impact Report (WAIR) or supporting delineation package.

02

Desktop wetland assessment

Where a full field visit isn't required, a desktop assessment (ABWRET-D) using existing mapping, imagery, and hydrology data to inform early project planning or preliminary screening.

03

Wetland replacement plan design

Design and documentation of replacement or compensation options where a project can't avoid wetland impact, structured to meet Alberta Wetland Policy replacement requirements.

04

Regulatory application preparation

Water Act referral support and preparation of the technical documentation regulators require alongside a wetland or water-body application.

05

Authenticating professional sign-off

Formal review and sign-off on wetland regulatory submissions as a Qualified Wetland Science Practitioner (QWSP) — the credential Alberta Environment requires before a Wetland Policy application can be filed.

06

Environmental compliance advisory

Ongoing advice for landowners, municipalities, and developers working through provincial environmental and wetland regulation outside a single project — planning-stage guidance, permitting strategy, and regulator liaison.

Not sure what your project needs?

Most projects start with a short scoping conversation before any fieldwork is quoted — no cost to find out what level of assessment your site actually requires.
